Under Dr. Roshni Chakraborty, ABV-IIITM GwaliorInvestigating how expert opinions from social media can improve stock prediction. Using the large-scale StockTwits dataset (2008–2022), identifying consistent expert and inverse-expert users based on their historical sentiment accuracy.
- Building ML pipeline for sentiment accuracy analysis and expert signal extraction using NLP and Transformers.
- Enriching user metadata via targeted API-based scraping for behavioral pattern analysis.
- Leveraging extracted expert signals to enhance stock trend prediction and improve reliability of social-media-driven investment insights.
Project Intern
Advanced Materials Research Lab, ABV-IIITMBuilt an Arduino-based Cattle Animal Health Monitoring System with multi-sensor IoT integration. Patent being filed.
- Engineered a multi-sensor IoT device (Arduino, LM35, MQ-2, Pulse Sensor, HC-05) to monitor cattle health metrics — temperature, heart rate, ambient gas levels.
- Built a data pipeline transmitting sensor readings via Wi-Fi/Bluetooth to Firebase & Google Sheets for real-time remote livestock monitoring.
- Created proof-of-concept mobile app (Blynk) for data visualization and device management via Bluetooth.
